Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly organized Legal Administrative Assistant to support litigation attorneys in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on litigation experience who enjoys managing details, staying ahead of deadlines, and contributing to a team-oriented legal practice.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, proofread, and manage litigation documents and pleadingsAssist with court filings and deadline tracking using legal calendaring toolsMaintain multiple attorney calendars, including court dates and internal deadlinesCoordinate meetings, manage correspondence, and monitor shared inboxesOrganize and maintain electronic files within document management systemsProvide backup support to other legal assistants to ensure workflow continuityCommunicate professionally with internal staff, vendors, and external contactsQualifications
3–5 years of experience in a law firm supporting litigation matters (more experience considered)Demonstrated understanding of litigation procedures and document workflowsAbility to clearly explain prior litigation work and individual contributionsExperience with legal calendaring tools (Law Toolbox or similar)Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with document and practice management systems preferredStrong written communication and document drafting skillsProfessional phone presence and strong interpersonal skillsAdditional Details
