Job Title : Secondary Mathematics Teacher (Algebra II)JOB DESCRIPTION : Provide rigorous lessons aligned to the Common Core Standards and MA State Frameworks that promote independent thinking creative problem solving and intellectual curiosity for all students. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES : and implement instruction to ensure that all students meet and exceed Common Core Standards and State of data to inform instruction to track student progress engaging targeted instruction that meets MA DESE and Common Core Standards for level and subject taught services and instruction to meet variety of student learning needs and strengths student performance using formal summative and portfolio assessments to inform other duties as assigned by the principalQUALIFICATIONS : Degree teacher certification in content area experience at the high school level knowledge of content area written and verbal communication interpersonal and collaborative teamwork EndorsementTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Terms of employment are governed by the N.B.E.A. Unit A ContractLOCATION : New Bedford High School DATES : Immediate need for : November February. Not all courses are offered each trimester. Immediate need for Algebra II (Immediately February 25 2026)CONTINUEDMondays and some scheduled Tuesdays (As per the trimester schedule of courses offered.)HOURS : 6 : 30 9 : 15 p.m. Class6 : 00 6 : 30 p.m. Preparation RATE : In accordance with Unit A Contract
