Locum CRNA Contract in Flagstaff, AZ

Department Overview: Join our dynamic and diverse team providing essential support across a range of specialties, including Orthopedics (Ortho & Ortho Trauma), General Surgery (General & General Trauma), Spine, Neuro, Cath Lab, Ambulatory, and Endoscopy. As part of this busy and collaborative department, youll help ensure seamless operations and optimal patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and flexible locum contractor to support our surgical department in Flagstaff, AZ, from May 12 to September 7. This contract offers approximately 40 hours per week, with shifts assigned randomly via a scheduling tool (shift requests cannot be accommodated). Travel, malpractice, lodging, and car rental expenses will be fully covered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide surgical support across multiple specialties, including ortho, general, spine, neuro, and more.
• Assist with anesthesia support as needed (Cerner and SaAnesthesia EMR systems are in use).
• Ensure patient safety and support the surgical team in maintaining a sterile, efficient environment.
• Adapt to varying shift times and assignments.

Shift Details:

• Shifts will be assigned randomly (requests for specific shifts cannot be made). Available shifts are:
  • 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

Requirements:

• Availability to work approximately 40 hours per week between May 12 and September 7.
• Flexibility to adapt to randomly assigned shifts.
• Prior experience in a surgical or anesthesia support role preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner and SaAnesthesia EMR systems is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
