Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Tele position in Texas with night shifts and floating requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Med / Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
  • Assigned to night shifts, either 3x12 or 4x12 hours (18 : 45-07 : 15)
  • Required to float to other Med / Surg or Tele units as assigned
  • Alternating schedules between 36 or 48 hours per week may be available
  • Cerner EMR is used; experience preferred but not required
  • Responsibilities may include providing nursing care on Med / Surg Tele units and floating as needed
  • Adhere to facility procedures regarding documentation and compliance
  • Rotating or alternating work schedule may be assigned based on facility needs

    • Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in the profession
  • Current resume required
  • Two references from supervisors within the last 3 years of employment
  • Certifications must be current and provided with application
  • Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not considered
