Job Summary:
The Education Aide provides direct support to students within an educational setting, assisting teachers in creating a structured and positive classroom environment that fosters individualized academic and behavioral growth. This role collaborates with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans, behavior strategies, and instructional supports. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, documentation, preparation of educational materials, and active participation in team meetings. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage challenging behaviors, and a commitment to professional development and agency standards.

Work Environment:
Exposed to a combination of office, school, and mental health treatment environments. Exposed to children with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and clients who may be verbally and physically aggressive. May be exposed to blood or vomit and bodily fluids.
