Claims Resolution Specialist

Advantage Resourcing is seeking new talent in Lafayette, LA, and is hiring a Claims Resolution Specialist to join a passionate team providing healthcare with a personal touch. Our client is the nation's leader in home disease management and is committed to delivering premier respiratory services inside the comfort of homes for patients. If you have hands on experience working medical claim denials and a basic understanding of claims handling processes (appeals, denials, reading EOB’s, etc.), then we have an outstanding opportunity for you!

Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Monday – Friday
Pay: $18/hr.

Claims Resolution Specialist daily responsibilities:

• Address and respond to back collector’s email group
• Able to read through and understand medical documentation effectively
• Work back collectors aging bucket
• Work claim denials
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and good working relationship with co-workers
• Performs other clerical tasks as needed, such as answering phones, faxing, and emailing. Completes other duties, as assigned
• Communicates appropriately and clearly to Manager and other leaders
• Reports all concerns or issues directly to Collections Manager

Qualified candidates will have hands on experience working medical claim denials and a basic understanding of claims handling processes (appeals, denials, reading EOB’s, etc.).
