Description
The qualified candidate will work with a team of software and hardware engineers in supporting industry leading vacuum system platforms including new cutting-edge designs, product extensions, and continuous improvements to system throughput and performance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Responsibilities include developing software, verifying software design, and testing software quality of various vacuum systems and components.
May include supporting Manufacturing, motion control tuning, characterizing servo performance and stability, characterizing payload vibration, and developing/maintaining/releasing documentation.
Will also be responsible for streamlining or automating configuration, calibration and testing vacuum components, as well as the development of routines for automatic data collection and analysis.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on engineer with broad capabilities in electromechanical systems who possesses:
BSEE / BSCS with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR MSEE / MSCS with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Minimum of 2 years of C++ programming expertise. RTOS (Real-Time Systems) experience preferred.
Experience with electro-mechanical systems preferred.
Competency in Python software preferred.
Related coursework, experience or research in controls, and/or dynamic systems, or robotics.
Ability to learn complex systems quickly and work independently.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent technical communication and presentation skills.
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $94,280.13 USD to $127,555.47 USDFactors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
