As the Data Engineering Manager, you'll lead a talented team building scalable data systems that power advertising measurement and operational reporting. You'll guide technical strategy, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams to deliver secure, high-performing infrastructure. If you enjoy solving complex problems and making data work smarter, this is your chance to make a big impact.
This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What you'll do
- Lead a team of data engineers to design and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Build and optimize data models for real-time and batch processing
- Architect cloud-based solutions with a focus on performance and reliability
- Ensure systems meet security, privacy, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data needs and deliver solutions
- Mentor team members and drive engineering best practices
