What You Will Do:

• Support our planning and economic development team with general planning services to our municipal clients
• Be a Client Liaison with client communities
• Specific work tasks include:
  • Data analysis and collection
  • Review of land use applications
  • Preparation of staff reports
  • Plan and ordinance writing
  • Code/zoning enforcement
  • Community engagement
  • Draft Comprehensive Plans
  • Other duties related to planning and economic development

What You Will Bring:

• Four-year degree in urban planning or a related field
• Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a similar field desired
• 3-4 years' experience required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Desire to work to grow the Community Planning business
• Strong presentation and writing skills
• Proven abilities in leadership, facilitating commission/council meetings, relationship-building, a positive attitude, and a passion for your work are also required.
• Ability to travel up to 10% within the Twin City Metro
• Ability to work in the posted location
