Base pay range

$100,000.00 / yr – $200,000.00 / yr

We are hiring a CFO to join our fast-growing group of companies in global logistics, food trading, and commercial shipping services.

About Us

You’ll be leading the financial operations of a group that includes :

Tree Logistics LLC

  • Global logistics (project cargo, NVOCC, RoRo, breakbulk, inland services).

Tree Market LLC

  • International food and commodity trading.

    • Tree Ocean Services LLC

  • Sales and service provider for VOCCs and terminal handlers (commercial agency, customer service, documentation).

    • You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the executive leadership across the group.

    What You'll Do

  • Lead financial strategy and unified control across all companies.
  • Manage financial planning for logistics and shipping operations.

    • Oversee trading finance for Tree Market, including :

  • Cost of goods analysis
  • FX and country risk management
  • Supplier / customer payment flow design
  • Track KPIs (e.g., EBITDA by project, income by division, cash flow).
  • Handle treasury, tax, and banking across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Lead internal financial teams and external stakeholders (auditors, banks, etc.).

    • Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and multi-entity strategy.
  • Strong command of financial statement preparation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance (U.S. GAAP, international tax, multi-jurisdictional banking).
  • Advanced analytical and strategic decision‑making skills.
  • Experience in logistics, shipping, or international trade is highly valued.
  • Proficiency with financial software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (MBA and / or CPA preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
