Assistant Program Manager Test & Evaluation
Avian is searching for a senior level Assistant Program Manager Test & Evaluation (APMT&E) to support NAVAIR's Tomahawk Program Office, PMA-280, in Patuxent River, MD.
Responsibilities
The APMT&E will develop T&E strategies to test the Tomahawk missile. The APMT&E will support programmatic milestones within resource constraints, and plan, coordinate, execute, and document T&E related meetings to execute T&E efforts.
Responsibilities include :
- Chair Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT) and Test Plan Working Group (TPWG) meetings
- Develop the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and support OPTEVFOR with the Integrated Engineering Framework (IEF) development
- Develop and manage the T&E schedule
- Develop a T&E Spend Plan and support POM submissions
- Coordinate aircraft demand signals with respective platform PMAs
- Represent T&E at SETR events
- Manage lab, ground and flight test events
- Lead the execution of complex tasks
- Interface between the IPTs, OPTEVFOR, DT / OT test squadrons and lab facilities to support test efforts
- Must be able to work independently
Qualifications
Education Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field from an accredited college or university. Experience cannot be substituted for education.Required Experience and Skills :
Prior APMT&E experienceMust be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.Salary range : $160,000 - $180,000 (The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and / or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
