We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting critical accounting functions such as reconciliation, billing, and data management. Responsibilities:
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely payments and collections.
• Process invoices and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
• Handle billing procedures and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Conduct data entry tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel to maintain financial records.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient accounting operations.
• Generate reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.
• Identify and address any anomalies or errors in financial data.
• Assist with additional accounting tasks as assigned by management.• Proven experience in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with billing processes and invoice management.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
