DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT

SQL DEVELOPER or DATABASE ENGINEER

Location : Detroit, MI

Duration : Long term

Rate : Best

ONLY GC or CITIZEN

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Three years of related work experience
  • Three years of experience developing and supporting Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • Understanding of database design / architecture in a Microsoft SQL Server environment
  • Knowledge of strategies and approaches for performance optimization, troubleshooting and monitoring
  • Data modeling, query optimization and strong knowledge of T-SQL
  • Ability to understand large data models quickly
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook

  • Basic SQL Server administration skills
  • Knowledge of SQL Extended Events
  • Experience managing database roles and permissions
  • Experience with SSRS
  • Knowledge of data warehouse methodologies
  • Knowledge of the .NET platform and service-oriented architecture
  • Strong ability to make technical decisions with minimal information
  • Ability to mentor, train and present topics in large groups
