A company is looking for a DRG (Coding) Reviewer / Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and review inpatient claims for coding accuracy and proper DRG assignment

Perform comprehensive initial reviews as per standard operating procedures

Collaborate with physician reviewers and manage workload independently

Required Qualifications

Coding Certification (CCS, CIC, or RHIT) required

Completion of college-level courses in medical terminology, anatomy, and medical coding

At least 3 years of experience in MS-DRG and APR-DRG validation in acute care inpatient coding

Knowledge of Official Coding and Reporting guidelines and regulatory compliance

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
