We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Construction Administrator to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, as you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in contract management, budgeting, cost estimation, and procurement will be crucial to the successful delivery of our projects. This role requires a high degree of organization, the ability to solve complex problems, and excellent communication and time management skills.
Responsibilities
As a Consulting Construction Administrator, your responsibilities will include :
1. Overseeing all stages of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
2. Managing contracts, including negotiation, compliance, and dispute resolution.
3. Developing and managing budgets, and conducting cost estimations and analysis.
4. Overseeing procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and management.
5. Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation.
6. Solving complex problems that arise during the construction process, using your technical knowledge and creativity.
7. Communicating effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, vendors, and team members.
8. Managing project timelines, coordinating tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met.
9. Organizing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
10. Planning and scheduling construction activities, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
11. Managing relationships with vendors, ensuring that goods and services are delivered as expected.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need :
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in construction management or a related field.
2. Proven experience in contract management, budgeting, cost estimation, and procurement.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
4. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
6. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
7. Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks.
8. Outstanding organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Experience in documentation, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
10. Experience in vendor management, with the ability to negotiate and manage relationships effectively.
11. A deep understanding of construction planning, with the ability to ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
