Junior Estimator

Blastco Texas, Inc. is seeking a Junior Estimator to support our estimating team in the preparation and delivery of accurate, professional, and competitive bids. This is an entry-level role designed for a highly detail-oriented individual who is strong on the computer, eager to learn, and interested in long-term growth within construction estimating and project management.

This position offers significant exposure to real-world estimating, bonding, and pre-construction activities, with a clear path for advancement as skills and responsibilities grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with bid preparation for public and private projects
• Complete and maintain pre-qualification forms and bid documentation
• Coordinate bid bond requests and transmit bond information
• Procure payment & performance bonds upon project award
• Assist with assembling and reviewing final proposal packages to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings as required
• Collaborate closely with senior estimators and project managers
• Maintain organized records of bids, proposals, and estimating data
