Radar Operations Engineer

A company is looking for a Radar Operations Engineer to monitor and support radar operations for space safety and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and support the global radar network, ensuring availability and high-quality data

Take restorative actions during anomalies and respond to potential threats

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design processes and identify automation opportunities

Required Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. in a STEM field or equivalent hands-on experience

Experience in an operational environment such as a Network Operations Center or mission control

Background in incident management and ability to triage anomalous activity

Ability to read and understand Python scripts and work in a command-line interface

General understanding of RF principles and modulation
