Certified OBS Coder

A company is looking for a job title, OBS Coder (Full-time).

Key Responsibilities

Accurately code outpatient observation encounters

Master client systems and ensure compliance with productivity and quality standards

Work with assigned chart types and facilities that align with experience

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Minimum of 3 years of OBS facility production coding experience

At least 6 months of recent OBS facility coding experience

Proficient in Injections & Infusions coding

Experience in coding surgical procedures

Active AHIMA or AAPC certification (CPC-A and CCA not accepted)
