Position Description

The Ground C2 Systems SME – Intelligence Focused is responsible for providing technical expertise in Ground Command and Control systems with a focus on intelligence integration. The individual designs test architectures, configures and maintains ground C2 applications, and provides operational expertise during test and engineering events. This role requires deep knowledge of multiple C2 systems and the ability to integrate them for a common operational picture.

Essential Position Functions

• Four years' experience in operating, administering, training, or testing Ground C2 systems such as Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture (COP) Workstation (JTCW), Tactical COP Server (TCS), Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Tactical Service Oriented Architecture (TSOA), Common Hosting Environment (CHE), Combat Data Network (CDN), Joint Battle Command - Platform (JBC-P), or MAGTF Common Handheld (MCH).
• Experience administering VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server Operating Systems (desired).
• Experience in Microsoft Active Directory (desired).
• Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing and switching (desired).
• CompTIA Security+ certification (desired).
• Other duties as assigned to support team goals and maintain operational efficiency

The Ground C2 Systems SME – Intelligence Focused demonstrates advanced expertise in operating and integrating multiple ground C2 systems to support intelligence operations and common operational picture development. This role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, proficiency in system administration across multiple platforms, and the ability to provide operational expertise during complex test and engineering events.

Physical Requirements for the role

This position is primarily sedentary and requires the ability to work at a computer for extended periods, including viewing monitors, using keyboards, and operating standard office equipment. The role may require occasional standing, walking, and minimal lifting (up to 10 pounds).

Work Environment

The work environment for this position is primarily a professional office or remote setting with standard business conditions. The role involves regular use of computers and related technology in a low-noise environment and frequent collaboration with technical and non-technical team members. Travel is anticipated to be 10% - 25% within the Continental United States and 10%-25% outside the Continental United States

Compensation

$120,000 - $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
