Clinical Technician

Bluegrass Orthopaedics is hiring for a Clinical Technician in Lexington, KY.

As a Clinical Technician for Bluegrass Orthopaedics, your job duties include assisting the physician/physician assistant in exam rooms as needed, completing reviews for scheduled clinics, and obtaining vital signs and brief histories related to office visits. The Clinical Technician will also document patient medical information in EHR, maintain supplies, perform periodic cleaning as delegated, take telephone message, and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls. The Clinical Technician reports to the Clinical Supervisor/Manager of Clinical Operations.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to obtain patient vital signs
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
• Strong communication skills
• Preferred completion of accredited training program for clinical assisting or a combination of education/work experience in the clinical setting of a medical office.
