Healthcare Assistant Position

Location

Bradenton, FL

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift : 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 30 PM

Job Description

The Healthcare Assistant will play a vital role in supporting clinical staff and ensuring that patient care is delivered effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities will include assisting with daily patient activities, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The Healthcare Assistant will also be expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees, in accordance with facility policy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the patient care environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Relevant healthcare experience preferred.
  • Certifications as required by state and facility regulations.
