Director of Data Science

A company is looking for a Director of Services Data Science and Research.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely delivery of analyses and reports while engaging with customers for project kick-off and communication

Scope projects and design methodologies for various transportation-related analyses and provide technical support for proposal writing

Manage a team of Data Scientists to complete custom projects based on customer requirements

Required Qualifications

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field

7 years of work experience in Transportation Data Science or a related field

Expertise in statistical programming languages such as Python and databases like PostgreSQL and Big Query

Familiarity with geospatial tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)

Experience in project management and documentation tools such as Jira, Asana, and Confluence
