Join Our Team as a Locum Physician – OB Hospitalist in Sevierville, TN

As a key contributor to our healthcare team, you will support our facilities with your expertise during scheduled shifts, ensuring the highest standard of maternal and neonatal care.

Required Skills :

  • Valid medical license and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active and unrestricted US medical license
  • Proven experience in obstetric and hospitalist medicine
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting
  • proficiency with EMR systems and hospital protocols

Nice to Have Skills :

  • Previous locum or temporary hospitalist experience
  • Advanced life support certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP)
  • Knowledge of regional obstetric care standards
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

    • Preferred Education and Experience :

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
  • Prior experience working in Tennessee or similar healthcare environments

    • Other Requirements :

  • Availability for 24-hour shifts including clinic, call, and on-call responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel if needed, with reimbursements provided for travel and licensure
  • Compliance with all state, federal, and local healthcare regulations
  • Maintains current certifications as required by hospital and legal standards

    • Compensation for this role is $214.50 per hour, reflecting competitive pay for skilled OB hospitalists.
