Senior Software Engineer - Application Security

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in application security to enhance secure software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage software security testing techniques aligned with enterprise standards

Analyze and assess open-source vulnerabilities and develop remediation plans for identified risks

Champion secure coding practices and collaborate with teams to integrate security into the software delivery lifecycle

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (AWS and security certifications a plus)

Strong experience in application security testing and software composition analysis

Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python

Familiarity with OWASP, CWE, CVE standards and vulnerability mitigation techniques

Working knowledge of AWS services, Docker, Terraform, and DevSecOps practices
