Legal Assistant / Paralegal (Hybrid - Remote)
Location : Atlanta, GA (Dunwoody / Alpharetta Area)
Compensation : $35 – $45 / hour
Status : Part-Time (15-20 hours per week)
Innovative Outsourcing is proud to partner with The Hawkins Firm , a premier boutique employment law practice, to find a detail-obsessed Legal Assistant / Paralegal .
The Hawkins Firm isn't your typical litigation shop. They specialize independent workplace investigations, mediation, and high-stakes conflict resolution. As the firm grows, they need a dedicated partner to manage the intricate documentation and administrative architecture that keeps their investigations beyond reproach.
The Role : Impact & Responsibilities
This is a newly created position designed for a legal professional who loves the "investigatory" side of the law and thrives in an agile, tech-forward environment.
- Transcription & Witnessing : Serve as the official "eyes and ears" during witness interviews. You’ll take comprehensive, contemporaneous notes that serve as the definitive record for investigations.
- Word Processing & Drafting : Prepare formal memoranda, EEOC position statements, and client engagement agreements using firm templates.
- Billing & Client Care : Manage the billing lifecycle, from initial entry to resolving client questions with professional poise.
- Calendar & Travel Logistics : Own the Principal Attorney’s schedule, ensuring seamless travel and meeting coordination.
- Evidence Organization : Catalog diverse evidence (payroll records, handbooks, emails) to build clear factual timelines.
- AI Implementation : Actively utilize and experiment with Legal AI tools to streamline drafting and administrative workflows.
- Physical Assembly : Occasionally assist with the physical assembly of large document attachments and local site visits in the North Atlanta area.
