Role : Field Service Engineer - Print Manufacturing Equipment

Join a pioneer in the global digital imaging industry since 1994, headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, partnering with major brands and manufacturers! This remote role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of print manufacturing equipment across the Chicago area. Although remote in nature, this role requires significant regional travel, a high degree of independence, and customer service excellence. Install and maintain print production equipment at customer sites, troubleshoot and repair machinery, and conduct facility pre-installation meetings to confirm necessary utility modifications. Great place to work with full benefits and ability to be remote when not at client sites installing and repairing equipment. Analyze customer helpdesk tickets, identify solutions, suggest improved methods, and recommend system improvements to enhance customer satisfaction while staying abreast of industry advancements.

Requirements :

• NO DEGREE REQUIRED - Technical aptitude and experience valued
• 3+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or equipment maintenance
• HIGH proficiency in mechanical and schematics understanding and application
• MODERATE proficiency in electronics for effective troubleshooting and repair
• Experience with large format printers and print production equipment
• Strong customer service skills to maintain positive relationships and ensure satisfaction
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and fix equipment issues efficiently
• Meticulous attention to detail for high-quality service delivery and accurate documentation
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance
• Ability to complete detailed service documentation and records
• High degree of independence and self-motivation
• Willingness and ability to travel significantly within regional area
• Ability to obtain and maintain relevant certifications
