We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens coverage at a healthcare facility in the state of Virginia, located in a central area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to high-quality patient care on a flexible, short-term basis.

Position Details :

• Specialty : Gastroenterology
• Location : Central Virginia (near Haynesville, VA)
• Start Date : ASAP
• Duration : Ongoing, with flexibility for duration (short-term coverage through at least 12 / 31 / 2024)
• Shift Type : 24-hour on-call shifts (7 AM to 7 AM)
• Patient Population : Inpatient
• Patient Volume : Approximately 3 patients per day
• Practice Setting : Hospital
• Support Staff : Available at the facility, including trained medical staff to assist with patient care
• EMR : Meditech (with plans to transition to Expanse)
• Required Procedures : ERCP and EUS are mandatory; must be comfortable performing these advanced procedures during on-call shifts.
