Job Summary

Meadow Gold Dairy has immediate job openings for skilled fleet maintenance mechanics to perform routine maintenance and repair services on different types of fleet vehicles under DOT and company regulations. In this role, the person will also perform preventive fleet maintenance and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools to identify root causes of failures and conditions.

Compensation

• $28.87 an hour BOE and Certifications
• ASE certification (T2 – T8); extra $0.25/ hour per certification ($1.75 max)
• 608 Refrigeration Certification, receive extra $1/hour
• Upon completion of the 7th T2-T8 ASE certification the extra pay will be increased from $1.75 to $2.50/hour.

SCHEDULES OPEN:

Rotating 4 day work week 11:00AM - 9:30PM

Requirements

Requirements :

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach and crawl and possibly sit for virtually the entire shift
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist others.
• Must be able to work in a dusty, greasy environment, with moderate noise and cold and hot temperature ranges
• Must be able to follow all required work safe practices
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to obtain a valid CDL license within a year of hire date.
• Must be computer literate and have experience with engine, ABS, transmission, etc., as well as diagnostic equipment and software
• Must have experience with manipulation of tools, equipment, and truck components
• Preferred experience with refrigeration equipment
• Recommended 2–3 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment.
• Two years related experience, or completion of a Diesel Technology Training course, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred experience with INSITE, DL and Navistar service tools
• Experience with FWHA / BIT requirements
• Experienced with brake systems or certified with BENDIX / WABCO
