Your Responsibilities

• Performing detailed patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions by collaborating with physicians or independently, depending on credentials
• Aiding patients and their families in understanding prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies within the legal practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic health care

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capable of obtaining within 90 days)
