Job Title: Machine Operator Fabricator
Job Summary
The Machine Operator ensures that sheet metal parts are produced safely, accurately, and efficiently to meet customer specifications and production goals. This role sets up and operates machines, inspects parts for precision, and collaborates with teams to continuously improve processes. By maintaining quality standards and supporting smooth production, the Machine Operator plays a key role in keeping operations reliable and productive.

$23-26/hr. depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Independently set up and operate machines with a focus on safety, efficiency, and precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances and maintain quality standards.
- Perform light daily maintenance to keep equipment running at peak performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
- Cross-train in different areas to support team and production goals.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and work orders.
- Solid mathematical skills, including converting fractions to decimals.
- Skilled in operating forklifts, hand tools, and power tools.
- Proactive problem-solving skills to troubleshoot mechanical and production issues.
- Team-oriented with a focus on safety and reliability in daily operations.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in a machine operation role, preferably with sheet metal.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of lifting and maneuvering materials up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment with noise and movement.
