Overview

Music Director / Arranger - North Campus. Directs and arranges music for the Worship Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church – North Campus ("PBC – NC").

Responsibilities

  • Accompany and lead weekly vocal team rehearsals at PBC - NC
  • Assist in the production of new music and feature projects
  • Create pre-production tracking for services
  • Actively participate on the worship planning team
  • Actively participate on the creative planning team for production and worship events
  • Arrange music for weekend services and special events
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC - NC
  • Commitment to the Worship Ministry vision and core values of Passionate, Relational, Excellent, Accountable, Collaborative, and Honoring
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain excellent communication and relationships
  • Experience using Ableton and Pro Tools
  • Proficiency with Finale or Dorico notation software
  • Experience working in a production environment
  • Previous experience as a Music Director
  • Proficient in music reading
  • Strong playing skills on a primary instrument (piano preferred)
  • Proficient in Google, Microsoft Office, and Apple products
  • Ability to work a Sunday – Thursday schedule with flexibility for evening responsibilities and PBC scheduled events
  • Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, pushing / pulling a cart, and lifting up to 10 pounds without assistance
