As a part-time security officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our claim a shift platform. As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $21.60 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time Wed 08 : 00 AM - 05 : 30 PM Thur 08 : 00 AM - 05 : 30 PM

  • This is a part-time position and is not eligible for benefits or 401k

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within financial institution locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any irregularities or incidents to Allied Universal management and / or the client representative as directed.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor activity as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities and follow established protocols during incidents, evacuations, or drills.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Being at least 21 years of age is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
