Responsibilities:
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
Fabricate, assemble, and weld aluminum components and structures
Ensure welds meet quality, strength, and appearance standards
Set up welding equipment, select proper materials, and adjust parameters
Inspect welds using visual inspection and measuring tools
Troubleshoot welding defects and recommend corrective actions
Lead, mentor, and support junior welders and fabricators
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
Support production schedules and meet project deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
4-5 years of experience in aluminum welding
Strong expertise in TIG welding (MIG experience is a plus)
Ability to weld various aluminum alloys and thicknesses
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
Knowledge of welding codes and standards (AWS, ISO, or equivalent)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Certified Aluminum Welder (AWS or equivalent)
Experience with fabrication, cutting, and forming aluminum materials
Leadership or supervisory experience
Ability to train and assess welding skills of team members
Manufacturing or fabrication workshop environment
Requires standing for long periods and handling tools and materials
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
