The Role

Lithko Contracting, LLC is seeking a Field Engineer to join the team. As a Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the success of the overall project team, responsible for the planning and layout of the line and grade portion of a project. You will bring technical expertise in line / grade layout and the use of advanced instrumentation like total stations. You will be a key technical resource for others in the field.

Key Responsibilities :

• Set up and maintain permanent control throughout the line and grade portion of the project.
• Apply expertise in using Total Station, Robotic Total Station, and / or Theodolite equipment.
• Utilize data surveying software proficiently.
• Validate dimensions by reviewing architectural and structural drawings before execution.
• Ensure precision and quality in your work, constantly seeking improvements and monitoring quality levels.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in drawings prior to execution.
• Collaborate with the project lead to ensure proper scheduling and sequencing for the line and grade portion.
• Complete layouts accurately, efficiently, and within the project timeline.
• Provide layout information to the project team for seamless execution.
