Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Rehabilitation Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Summary (List Format) : - Position : Acute Care Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift - Shifts : 3x12 hour shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) - Weekend / Holiday : Every 3rd weekend; holidays as needed - Floating : Required between all Cone Health campuses - Experience : Minimum 1 year of acute care rehab experience; no first-time travelers - Certifications : BLS required - EMR : EPIC experience required - Duties / Skills : - Interpretation of laboratory results - Medication reconciliation - Patient health history, allergies, and questionnaires - Monitoring and recording vital signs (BP, respirations, temp, pulse) - Dressing changes; setup of aseptic / sterile procedure trays - Capillary draws, specimen labeling, throat / urine (clean catch) collection, phlebotomy - Telephone triage, pharmacy calls, patient refill requests - Patient Population : - Patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, generalized debility - Specialized inpatient rehabilitation care (post-stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical, etc.) - Patient Ratio : 1 nurse : 6 patients - Additional Requirements : - Pass / fail EKG exam required - Flexibility with scheduling and floating Reliant Staffing Solutions / RSS Medical Job ID 3920.
