We are seeking to bring on an experienced DevOps Engineer specializing in Microsoft Azure. This is a consulting role that supports a diverse range of clients across government, education, and commercial sectors. Because of the variety of work, you will be involved in multiple projects across different verticals, with most of the work focused on new environment builds rather than maintaining legacy systems.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing DevOps solutions that support client build and release pipelines. Most applications are written in .NET, so it is important to have strong experience with how .NET applications are built, deployed, and optimized. You will manage Azure resources, provision environments, and work extensively within Azure PaaS services for containers and microservices since the team uses Azure’s native container offerings rather than Docker.
This position provides a high level of autonomy, and you will be counted on to make key architectural decisions that shape the direction of entire projects. They are looking for someone who can give clear guidance, offer best practice recommendations, and influence both leadership and engineering teams on cloud and DevOps strategy.
