Job Description:

• Providing one-on-one Music Therapy services to children and youth with congenital disorders, intellectual disabilities, or physical disabilities.
• Creating personalized goals tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Maintaining detailed documentation for each therapy session.
• Collaborating with team members and other service providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Timely submission of documentation, including progress notes and weekly invoices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Traveling to current or prospective clients' homes as required.
• Effectively communicating with healthcare professionals, clients, families, and the general public through verbal and written means.
• Having access to a private personal laptop or desktop computer to ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Tracking SMART goals and client progress using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Reader.
• Implementing patient care plans through goal-oriented activities at home and within the community.
• Exhibiting the ability to work independently while effectively managing personal and client time.

Requirements:

• Resume
• MT-BC certification
• Liability Insurance (to be provided upon hire)
• Valid Driver's License
• Social Security Card
• Bachelor's Degree or higher is required
