Special Requirements : General Emergency Department-Combined Adult / Pedi experience required. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills / Experience : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG. Required IV Therapy / Phlebotomy Skills / Experience : Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs. Required Medication Skills / Experience : Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration. Required Neurological Case Skills / Experience : CVA, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain Injury. Required Orthopedic Skills / Experience : Manage / apply splints. Required Pediatric Case Skills / Experience : Abdominal pain, Asthma, Head injury, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Poison ingestion, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Skin Disorders. Required Psychiatric Case Skills / Experience : Acute Psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Suicidal patient. Required Respiratory Case Skills / Experience : Chest tube insertion / management, Intubation. Required Professional Topics and Skills : Isolation Precautions, Triage. Cerner experience required.
