Shift : Day 5x8-Hour Shifts (7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM)
Pay : $66 / hr

Description :
UC Davis Medical Center is seeking a Patient Records Abstractor IV to support its Medical Services Abstracting Unit. This non-clinical HIM role focuses on reviewing EMR documentation, identifying billable services, and assigning accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes in compliance with federal, state, payer, and teaching physician guidelines.
Requirements :
- AHIMA CCS, CCS-P or AAPC CPC certification
- Strong professional fee coding experience
- Proficiency with Epic and 3M encoder systems
- Solid knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS
