Schedule / Expected Work Hours

Full-time, MondayFriday, 8-hour shifts.

Typical hours : 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM with occasional overtime or on-call rotation during peak seasons.

Job Summary

Walker Mechanical, a leading commercial HVAC contractor in Burlington, MA , is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician. Youll handle service, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating and cooling systems while working in a supportive, high-performing team. This role offers professional growth, strong benefits, and the chance to work on complex, large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues
  • Wire low-voltage heating and cooling equipment
  • Install and repair refrigerant and gas line connections
  • Pre-measure and determine proper installation materials
  • Complete service / start-up reports and documentation
  • Mentor HVAC apprentices and helpers
  • Participate in ongoing technical training programs

    • Qualifications

  • 35 years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and blueprint-reading skills
  • EPA & OSHA certification required
  • Valid drivers license with clean record
  • Refrigeration Technician license
  • Preferred : MA Sheet Metal
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and safely work at heights
