🕒 Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (30-minute break)

📅 Contract: 11 Weeks

📆 Schedule: Monday – Friday

💰 Pay Rate:

• Local: Up to $2200/weekly

• Traveler: Up to $2500/weekly

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Histology Technician for a night shift contract opportunity within a Surgical Pathology department at a leading academic medical center in NYC.

🔬 Key Responsibilities:

• Process and prepare small biopsies, dermatology, renal, and routine specimens
• Perform embedding, microtomy, staining, and slide preparation
• Work under supervision of a Pathology Assistant and Laboratory Supervisor
• Maintain quality control standards and documentation
• Follow laboratory safety and regulatory guidelines

✅ Requirements:

• 2–5 years of Histology experience (small biopsies required)
• Associate in Science & completion of an approved Histology accredited program
• OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
• OR Certified Histology Technician (HT/HTL)
• OR Clinical Lab Tech certification from NYS Education Department
• Strong knowledge of histological techniques and specimen handling
