Construction Supervisor

Job Summary

Reports to the Project Manager and performs daily site supervision of company employees and subcontractors at environmental remediation and construction project sites. Responsible for employee and subcontractor compliance with Site Health and Safety Plan. Responsible for project quality control. Tracks time of employees and directs employees in safe and proper procedures, following KEMRON SOPs for activities. Must have basic knowledge of earthwork, i.e., excavation, grading, and backfilling.

Primary Responsibilities and JOB DUTIES

• Manages the day-to-day activities of onsite employees and subcontractors.
• Communicates in a timely and consistent manner with Project Manager and or Program / Department Manager.
• Completes and submits daily, weekly and monthly written reports to the Project Manager.
• Maintains the project work schedule.
• Tracks project budget and approves subcontractor invoices.
• Ensures that proper KEMRON safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Immediately brings problems to the attention of the Project Manager and / or corporate Health and Safety Director.
• Must be willing to travel up to 90%.
