Security Officer - Logistics Access Control PT

As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.77 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

Fri 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

Sat 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activities.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by communicating security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and / or concerns according to Allied Universal and client procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
