Certified Coding Supervisor

A company is looking for a Supervisor, Coding, Provider Practice - Cardiology and Vascular.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and coaching to a team of Coders specializing in Cardiology and Vascular

Meet with physicians to provide feedback and training on appropriate documentation

Analyze coding data and report findings to upper management regarding discrepancies or variances

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Health Information Technology or Certification in Coding required

Knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding schemes preferred

At least three years of experience in coding for professional charges preferred

Experience with Medicare and other third-party payors preferred

Relevant coding certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCS-H, or COC required
