Projected Scheduling :   FLEXIBLE open for negotiation 3-12-hour shifts per week or other

Elk Grove Veterinary Specialty and ER  is looking for a veterinary technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About You

As a Veterinary Technician, you thrive in fast-paced emergency settings and bring both technical expertise and empathy to the patients and families you serve. You are a skilled multitasker, a strong communicator, and a collaborative team member who values both medical excellence and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current LVT / CVT / RVT license -preferred
• Emergency / ICU or critical care experience preferred
• Strong anesthesia, triage, and nursing care skills
• Knowledge of infectious disease, CPR, and advanced patient monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $27 - $33 /  hour-inclusive of shift differential. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
