CDL-A Driver – Local Deliveries | $23 / hr  | Springfield, MO Penmac Staffing is hiring a  Class A CDL Driver  for a local hardware company in Springfield, MO. This is a  full-time, day-shift position  delivering lumber and building materials to customers in the surrounding area. If you enjoy driving locally and being home every night, this could be the perfect fit! Requirements for CDL-A Driver

  • Valid  Class A CDL  with Air Brake Endorsement.
  • At least  6 months of recent driving experience .
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Experience with 1-ton dump trucks, 10-wheel flatbeds, 30’ trailers (with forklift), and box trucks.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid medical card and be willing to submit to a criminal background check and motor vehicle report.

CDL-A Driver Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a straight truck with forklift.
  • Deliver lumber and related materials to local customers.
  • Unload materials using forklift and by hand (up to 50 lbs).
  • Secure loads with straps and maintain delivery schedule.
  • Provide excellent customer service while following DOT safety standards and company procedures.

  • $23.00 per hour
  • Monday–Friday , start between 5 : 00–7 : 00 AM, end of day (typically 5–6 PM).
  • Local deliveries - home every night!
