Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is offering a full-time position in the patient services behavioral health department. The hospital is located in Kokomo, IN. Responsibilities include communicating with patients, participants, and staff to accurately schedule patients for prescribed procedures, performing clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration, gathering necessary demographic, insurance, and clinical information from patients, scheduling patient procedures in a manner that most efficiently utilizes the patient's time and clinical resources, coordinating and communicating schedules, assisting with coordination of activities related to insurance pre-certification / authorization, and providing counseling to patients, participants, or their representatives regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.
Education requirement is a high school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job specific experience. Required professional licensure / certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
