About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Network Transport / Network Telecomm Backbone Executive to take on a strategic and operational leadership role in the end-to-end management of its global telecom and backbone infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for centralizing operations, driving cost efficiencies, and enhancing the resiliency of the enterprise network. This executive-level position requires a deep knowledge of WAN / LAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and telecom billing systems, with a proven ability to lead large, distributed teams and manage substantial budgets. The role also involves aligning network strategy with digital transformation goals, influencing C-level stakeholders, and ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective connectivity across all enterprise systems. Applicants for this role at The Company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in telecom / network leadership, with at least 5 years in an executive capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, finance, and contract negotiation, as well as expertise in colocation, data center strategy, and telecom expense management. The position demands a leader with a strong executive presence, capable of making a significant impact on the organization's performance and operating at the most senior level within a major function or business unit.
