Metrology Intern

Fluke is looking for a Metrology Intern for summer 2026! This intern will support Fluke service operations. The Metrology Intern functions as part of a team of metrologists and engineers, supporting accredited calibrations of existing Fluke products.

This role will focus on making critical process improvements in fiber optic product and / or infrared thermometer calibrations. This internship will provide an opportunity to learn about fiber optic and infrared thermometer metrology, while making a positive impact to on-time delivery for Fluke's numerous customers.

Responsibilities :

The candidate, under guidance, will help develop calibration methods and techniques for Fluke Calibration products based on the principles of measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems and accuracy requirements for calibration standards. This includes development of uncertainty analysis in support of accredited calibrations, as well as control charting and statistical process controls, and design and development of automated test and measurement systems.

Qualifications :

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field, graduating December 2026 or later.
• Experience with C#, VB, Java, or Python programming for data analysis and process control. Experience with MET / CAL, Pytorch, Keras, or Tensorflow is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and team building skills, flexibility, and critical thinking.
• Problem solving, ability to deliver results
• Time management skills, self-motivated, and works well independently and within a team.

Pay Range The hourly range for this role is $20-$40 / hour in local currency.
