Lead Backend Engineer

To be successful in this role, you'll need :

• Experience : 10+ years as a Backend Engineer
• Backend Engineering : Strong proficiency in Java & Spring Cloud, with a deep understanding of microservices architecture and Integration platforms
• AI Tools : Regular use of AI-enhanced development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, WindSurf).
• Cloud : Extensive experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS / GCP preferred).
• Data : Hands-on experience in data architecture, SQL / PostgreSQL, and developing data-intensive services.
• Systems Development : Prior experience in building, launching, and maintaining complex systems.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, and product managers, to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Communication : Excellent communication skills across all levels and teams.

Pay Transparency Statement

This is a hybrid position based out of one of our offices : San Francisco, CA, Plano, TX, or Lehi, UT. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office two days per week.

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for 205,000 stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
